Jenni chatting to local young people

On the invitation of Aston Tesco’s Community Champion, Mark Van Beeumen, The Feast prepared a small stall at the Aston Community Fair on Sunday 19 September.  As Jenni had only started her new employed position in the nearby Broadway School at the start of the month, it was a good chance for us to promote our work, as well as start gauging local perceptions of how young people of different faiths relate.

We were very pleasantly surprised how popular our surveys and questionnaires proved to be, with many children, young people and even adults keen to try their knowledge of different faiths, or to make suggestions about what is needed to make their community better.

Many thanks to Mark and Tesco for organising the event and thanks to all those you came by to say hello.
