In 550 hours this gang of Christian and Muslim young people, and three slightly older people, will be en-route to Istanbul to change the world! We’re going to working with a group of Lebanese young people for 5 days to have lots fun, good chat about faith and explore Turkey.
The team are from different places; Gloucestershire, Kenilworth, and different areas of Birmingham. We met together last night for a final get together and there was a lot of excitement in the air as we made our final plans for the trip.
19 year old Hanna from Sparkhill says she hopes to “make friends for life” on this trip.
We’re going in partnership with World Vision Lebanon to replicate the work that the Feast have been doing in Birmingham. Our team have already had excellent discussions about faith, and are excited about learning more about their peers’ faith from a very different culture.
17 year old Judah says he hopes to achieve a “stronger and more profound understanding of my own and other religions.”
Sarah from Kenilworth says she hopes to learn “how to find neutral ground when having discussions with people a different culture or faith.”
We’ll be tweeting lots before and on the trip so do follow us as we seek to build peace between young people of different faiths in the UK, Turkey, Beirut and beyond…

We are going to have such a great time, and meeting with the group from Beirut is going to be fun and interesting.
Fantastic; I can’t wait to hear how it goes!
What an atrocious photo of me this is.
Sorry Charlie, it was the best of the bunch! We’ll get some awesome snaps in Turkey and this will soon be forgotten…
Hello,
I’m an American of Lebanese origin who is finishing a PhD from UBHAM in Christian Muslim relations in Lebanon. This trip sounds worthwhile. Please keep me posted. Sincerely George
