Budding new movie maker, Sajid

Hi my name is Sajid and I am 16 years old.  I was born in the UK and live in Sparkhill. I am one of the many young people working with The Feast, a charity organisation that allows Christian and Muslim people to share each other’s religions and give view on them.

I have taken part in various different events such as Faithful and Funny in April, a Photography event in June and The Feast Factor also in June, which was a youth fundraiser.  I also helped out with The Springfield Project’s Summer Party.

I can honestly say that the people at The Feast have helped a lot and that has been the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I would definitely recommend joining them if you are looking to have fun, meet people of another faith, volunteer or help out. This past week in my Summer holidays I have been looking at video editing and learning how to use Microsoft Movie Maker, and I have produced my first clip.  Here is some of the work that I have actually done!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m glad you shared your own thoughts about how your life is changing by making new friends through the Feast. I’m honoured to be one of those new friends. You are a good man, Sajid.

I’ve heard a lot about the ‘feast’ but I’m in Australia so it’s hard to imagine what it’s like. this really helped me imagine it better. I hope the friendship and positive events keep growing and that every young person gets a chance to explore their faith and enjoy life with a wide range of people.
