If you haven’t already heard we’re taking a team from Birmingham over to Istanbul again next summer. It was so good last year one of our team said; “I can’t even find the words to express how much I have learnt during this holiday. How much I learnt about others and their faith has made me learn things about myself.” We thought it’d be good to go back and give more people the chance to experience it.
The trip is all about going to meet a group of Lebanese peers in Turkey, learn about each others’ faith and culture, explore the city, eat some great food and make new friends.It’s for 17-20 year olds – you need to be 17 by August 2012, so if you’re a 16 year old in year 12 you can come! It’s for Muslims and Christians – you don’t need to know everything about your religion, just be honest and willing to talk about what you believe. We’ve already given away some spaces, but have a few remaining so have extended the deadline for application until 30th November.
