It seems like months ago we were enjoying a kebab with new friends in the trendy streets of Istanbul’s Taksim, and it was! Last night a few of us got together to eat as much as we could (we were at a buffet) and catch up on what had been happening in each other’s lives. Unfortunately we only managed to get 75% of us there but we think that’s pretty good going seeing as it’s Christmas and possibly the end of the world this week! We had a great laugh together reminiscing on the events of the trip and what had been a significant and special week in all our lives.
It’s great to see once again how this trip has helped to create life-changing friendships and the exciting lessons we learnt in the summer are still helping us to live together today.
