The Feast in Aston and Australia
Submitted by Jenni on Tue, 02/02/2010 - 16:47We've spread our wings to other parts of the city, and the world! I'll be working in Broadway school in Aston every Monday helping with RE and building links so young people from the area can also benefit from Feast activities.
Further afield we're getting ready to welcome Tim and his family all the way from sunny Oz to help develop our work. Apparently we're quite a hit down under, and have loads of support, which is awesome so thank you to the Aussie's!
Enrichment day at Moseley School
Submitted by Jenni on Thu, 28/01/2010 - 15:04We were in Moseley school on Monday running a session with year 10 on 'Conversion and Inter-faith dialogue". It was good to be there and to get pupils thinking about inter-faith dialogue and how they could be involved. Students finished the session by making a pledge to be a better neighbour to those around them by saying they'd start doing something, stop doing something, or try to change their attitude to those who were different to them. They'll receive their written pledges again in the next couple of weeks which will remind them of the things they said they'd do!
