The Feast

So, what is prayer and why do you do it? These were just a couple of questions I asked pupils in an assembly yesterday before leaving them with a Prayer Challenge........

"Prayer Challenge?" you ask? Yes, that's right, a Prayer Challenge!
After looking at prayer from a Christian perspective during assembly, I left pupils with the following Prayer Challenge: to say at least one prayer for their school between now and next week. To encourage them to take part in this challenge I was able to set up a Prayer Event which allowed pupils from all religious backgrounds to contribute to a prayer tree, focusing on some of the needs in their school.
I'll be doing the same again next week so hopefully we'll have some more pupils thinking about the importance of praying for their school and for each other. The question is, will YOU take this challenge???
